When women come together in the workplace, SOMETHING MAGICAL HAPPENS. The energy of this sisterhood fosters LEADERSHIP competencies, such as taking more INITIATIVES, practicing self-DEVELOPMENT, and displaying INTEGRITY and HONESTY. We are no longer just the mommy, or the wife, the people pleaser, or the enabler. We become so much more!
As for myself, I find that when I work with like-minded women, I become UNSTOPPABLE. It is the desire for SUCCESS, the desire to EXCEL, the desire to be OF VALUE that drives me.
Maybe it's because we often share similar experiences, such as discrimination, inequality, and societal pressures, which motivates us to seek to LIFT and EMPOWER one another. Or maybe it’s just because I am in my masculine energy at work and the LIONESS in me is finally UNLEASHED!
All i can say is that the “MLF” comes out and boy you better WATCH OUT ( MLF is a french term for movement of “la Liberation de les Femmes- the women's liberation movement) I no longer feel the need to please, bend or nurture everyone around me. I become FOCUSED ON RESULTS and POSITIVE CHANGE. Setting my feminism aside for a moment there is ample evidence to suggest that women work better collectively in certain situations, and here are some studies and statistics that explain why the CHARACTERISTICS OF A WOMAN make them NATURAL LEADERS:
Collaboration: Women tend to be more supportive and empathetic towards one another, which creates a safe and nurturing environment that fosters trust and security, essential for successful collaboration.
